Summary
Todd Anderson stands in front of him, clad in the same style, too-thin pajamas Cameron is wearing. He must be cold as well, because he's got a sweater pulled on over them. Cameron doesn't have to ask to know it must be Neil's.
--
Or: Todd and Cameron both went back to empty dorms that day. -

Summary
A few months ago, Neil would have given up. If his father had taken everything he cared about from him, he would have gone to his father's study and unlocked that drawer and taken out the gun. But he was taught by John Keating for almost an entire term, and if there's one thing he learned, it's Carpe Diem - seize the day. LIVE the day.
Neil doesn't give up, because you can't seize the day when you're dead, and sometimes rash decisions are the best decisions. He's not going to let his father take everything he cares about away, not acting, not the poets, and so Neil grabs everything that might be of use and steals his father's car. But back at Welton, he discovers that not only does everyone think he's dead, but Todd - soft, innocent, kind, oblivious Todd, who has no clue what he means to Neil - is hurt - and he won't wake up.

Summary
Todd?
He gave the boy a questioning look, why did he come? To rub it in? To yell at him?
Todd looked back shyly, he looked tired. Much tired then he should've been, even with the meeting the others had decided to throw in honor of the play.
“It's beautiful, isnt it.” Todd started quietly, looking back out onto the lake.
Cameron gave him a dumb look, more out of shock hed even say anything to him

Summary
‘If Neil and Todd were Romeo and Juliet, Charlie and Meeks were Beatrice and Benedict. They would never be innocence and joy, soft and tender. They would always be fights and denial, passion and regret’
Neil Perry was the glue, was the centre of their universe, he was the sun, but eventually all suns burn out and solar systems suffer the inescapable and devastating consequences.
This story explores the friendships of the Poets from before the film, through it and after. Exploring themes of grief and love, pain and joy. Things left unsaid to both Neil and to each other.
It is about all of the poets and the family they find in eachother, but it is also focused on the will they won't they, flawed wildfire of a love between Charlie Dalton and Stephen Meeks as they face learning to love eachother on their own terms as well as their own demons and addictions.
Come on a journey, they're all fucked up, maybe they always will be, but they have each other.
(Most of the tags are for later into the fic, I will tag individual chapters as needed)

Summary
When the disinherited 24 year old Charlie Dalton's landlord has yet again raised his rent, Charlie is met with an eviction notice. It is to his friend, Cameron's dismay, that Todd Anderson has grown out of his shell - thanks to the continued support and care from his Welton friends - and suggests Charlie moves into Cameron's spare bedroom.
Cameron, under the pressure of his friends gazes - especially Dalton's desperately hopeful - he says yes. Now he just has to hope that Charlie does not ever find out he has several stuffed animals, or that he will sit in the most random places, entirely zoned out and fiddling with one in moments of high-stress due to his job. He knows it'll only be fuel to a fire he doesn't want lit.

Summary
Cameron feels Charlie inching closer a split second before he takes hold of his wrist, spinning him around. Stubbornly, Cameron doesn’t meet his eyes. Charlie lifts his chin and forces him to.
Bloodshot green eyes on a bloody, freckled face meet brown, eager eyes accompanied by a playboy jawline, and that’s when it clicks.
“You lied to them.. to protect us,” Charlie mutters.

Summary
Neil comes back to Welton after the play and celebrates with the Poets. But after a drunken night spent in the cave, Todd now worries if he may have ruined a friendship and worries he may even go as far as to be kicked out of school.
Love, that is day and night—love, that is sun and moon and stars, Love, that is crimson, sumptuous, sick with perfume, No other words but words of love, no other thought but love. Blow again trumpeter—conjure war's alarums. - Walt Whitman

Summary
For a while it's just kissing, getting rid of both the space between them and the stress all wrought up in Cameron’s body. So good Charlie could probably live on it for months if he had to; all he needs is an armful of fussy towhead genius, half-hard in his pants when Charlie’s skirts his fingers downward to move them.

Summary
Neil Perry had been the sun, wild and bright-eyed, warm to everyone and anyone who crossed his path. Charlie Dalton was Jupiter—big and boisterous, taking up every crevice that he could. Steven Meeks was Venus, and Gerard Pitts was Earth—the two twin planets that could always see each other due to their proximity. Knox Overstreet was Uranus—moody and sensitive with every passion that consumed him. Todd Anderson was Saturn, unique with every tiny particle of sand or rock in his rings. Richard Cameron was Pluto, the smallest planet, and unbeknownst to him, not even a planet after 2006.

Summary
The night continues. Neil says, “Goodness, I’ve got your coat all wet.”
“It’s snowing,” Todd points out, a little dryly, and Neil chokes out a laugh, probably a little more enthused than deserved. He wipes his face, and clears his throat, but he doesn’t step away. His hand lingers on Todd’s arm.Todd wakes up on the night of the play with a terrible feeling in his stomach.
