Sky's dreams were plagued by flashes of lightning and his own ragged screams. Images floated through his mind: Zelda, falling through the clouds; Impa's furious face; Demise laughing ominously. Sky restlessly moved, trying to rid himself of the disturbing memories.

Sky has suffered a bad injury in battle. Now, he has to learn to live with the consequences of it.

An AU where Twilight loses his Twilight Shard and meets the Chain stuck as Wolfie with no way to transform back.

It will consist of a lot of oneshots/multichap fics of the Chain traveling around with Wolfie, having no clue that he’s really just a guy who’s stuck as a wolf. Will include an unhealthy amount of found family bonding and Time being the Chain’s collective dad (or dog dad, in Twilight’s unfortunate case).

    Summary

When it comes to heroes saving the world and holding courage against all odds, this universe has plenty across the ages. But what happens when a danger is created that goes across time?? Thus creating a darkness that can not be defeated by one.

Well, you make all of the heroes work together of course! Forcefully bringing them all together across the timelines whether they like it or not. Of course there are many ways to do this, so many ways to build a chain with 11 separate heroes across different era’s and timelines.

This is one of them, taking place over the time of a month this chain is slowly built, but not piece by piece. No, this chain was built with multiple pieces being put together at different times until all pieces have been put in place.

    Summary

“Stressed, yeah. She looks like she's boutta pluck her feathers out.”

“Might've,” Warriors says. “Looking a bit thin over here.”

“Well, that ain't good.” Twilight purses his lips. Warriors keeps petting the bird absently, neatly arranging her feathers into straighter lines. She hooks her giant beak around his shoulder. “I'll tell Sun about it. Sky's off recently, have ya noticed?”

“I have, but I wasn't sure if I was imagining it,” Warriors says. He frowns thoughtfully. “Sky's normal and Sky's off are remarkably similar. I worry he's bottling something up.”

Crimson lets out a mournful little noise. Twilight's face twists into a concerned grimace. “…Do ya remember how Sky said Loftwings are extensions of their souls?”

“I do,” Warriors says. Realization dawns in his eyes. “Wait, do you think…”

Sometimes it's easy enough to put two and two together. What's difficult, Twilight is finding, is dealing with the answer found.

    Summary

It was a well known fact among the Heroes of Courage that Legend did not hold the goddess Hylia in high regard. He regularly cursed Her name, scoffed at Her mention, and had stolen offerings from Her shrines on multiple occasions. Not many in the group fully understood or agreed with these actions, but eventually everyone had learned to keep their opinions to themselves to avoid conflict. For the most part this agreement worked perfectly, however, it led to some misconceptions.

(the chain makes some assumptions, legend sets them straight)
      -

Before he could finish saying his thoughts about Sun, Legend interrupted with a groan as he realized what the statue in front of them was depicting. “Holy shit, that statue’s almost as big as Hylia’s ego. Tell me we don’t need to wait there Sky.”

“Oh, um, you can stay inside the temple if you want but I think there’s another statue there too,” Sky responded hesitantly. He had forgotten how much Legend seemed to despise the goddess.

Twilight shot Legend a disapproving look and put a hand on Sky’s shoulder. “What were you saying about Sun?”

Sky wasn’t sure how to continue anymore. He didn’t want to tell Legend about Sun being Hylia’s mortal incarnation if it would make him that upset, but he didn’t want to lie either. He settled for avoiding the subject until he had a plan, “Well, she’s my girlfriend, most of my adventure was about trying to help her. She’s incredibly fierce, but one of the most caring people I know! I’ve really missed her, I’m excited for you all to meet her.”
      -
Legend knew he could be an ass sometimes. It’s not like he enjoyed upsetting people, but he learned a lot from his adventures. For one, it doesn’t always pay to be polite. His uncle had taught him manners and raised him to be respectful, but after he was killed by the same knights he told Legend to respect, it became a lot harder to listen. Being polite only ended up with a sword in the back.

That being said, he wasn’t disrespectful to Hylia just because he was bitter. And he really did try to suppress his instinctual reaction to Her around the group, especially Sky. It was just complicated. Most things are, but he didn’t want to tell a group of strangers his entire experience with religion, the goddess Hylia, and his family issues just to make them less uncomfortable. After almost two months together though, Legend was starting to change his mind.

Sky had called down his loftwing once they reached the sacred temple. The plan was that Sky would go ahead on his own to explain their newest adventure to Sun and get some of his friends to come down to the surface with loftwings to get everyone on Skyloft. However, Sky seemed weirdly on edge as he was mounting his loftwing. Just before he was about to take off, he looked to Legend.

“Legend,” he started, “you should just come with me now. You know, because you didn’t want to be by the uh, statue.”

Now, Legend immediately figured out that he was lying about something. It didn’t take a genius to see how nervous Sky looked, but he agreed anyway. Legend himself had lied to the others countless times to keep secrets or avoid upsetting someone. However, even if he wasn’t going to call Sky out, he was by no means going to let it go.
      -

“Who are you! How do you know Link!” The man demanded.

Legend raised an eyebrow. “I don’t know who the hell you are but you have about five seconds to get out of my face before I push you off of this island.”
      -
Legend couldn’t help himself from rolling his eyes. If anything, he was the most qualified to talk about Hylia. He was her descendant after all.

He frowned as his mind wandered once more. Legend was technically the Prince of Hyrule. Realistically, he didn’t grow up in the castle and had no authority, but ever since he and Fable found out during his first adventure she had been doing her best to fix that. That means though, if all of the Zelda’s were part of the same royal family– did that make Sun and Sky his ancestors? Legend choked on his saliva and flew into a coughing fit.

Fuck.Fuck. He started to understand why Sky was being so secretive. Everyone in Hyrule knew that the royal bloodline is only royal because it was started by Hylia herself. Sun said herself that she isn’t a princess, so she and Sky had to be the ones that started the royal family. Legend came to two possible conclusions: either Sun was Hylia’s child, or Sun was Hylia. Both options seemed insane, but Legend had seen much crazier things in his life. He had to talk to Sun again.

    Summary

Because Marin Bennet grew up with the princess in her home, she feels the weight of Hyrule’s civil war more strongly than most residents of the isolated Hateno Village. Though her sister Aurora’s vision of a “cute mage” saving Hyrule starts the sisters’ swooning over new arrivals in town, Marin believes her heart more difficult to win in light of meeting the prickly Legend Link Darcy. She never planned on falling in love with him as she set out to protect the neighbors she laughs and works with and preserve the tale of whatever hero it was who slayed the dragon to inspire her people.

The whole reincarnation-thing is a cycle. That's kind of the definition of reincarnation. Still, some of the Links wish that the cycle wouldn't repeat itself quite this quickly. What do you MEAN Ganon can come back this many times in one lifetime? Surely he got the memo of one (1) Ganon for every one (1) hero? Surely it can't be right that ALL world-ending events have to happen during these nine guys' lives? Where's the justice in that? Yes, we're looking at you, Hylia.

The Chain has just finished their adventure during LU, when they're called back into action. Apparently, the gods aren't done with them yet. Only this time, Legend wound up getting kidnapped along with most of the Zeldas, while Fable has accidentally joined the Chain
