"Nothing- there's- I can't remember anything-" He grit the words out through gasping breaths as he tried not to hyperventilate.
"Easy, boy," The voice became a figure as it stepped in front of him. He was draped in ropes and held the face of a man who'd been around a long time. "You'll only tire yourself."
Jason tried to calm down. He was trying, he really was. But not knowing who or where he was didn't exactly inspire a tranquil state of mind.
"You are Jason Todd," the man said, "Member of the League of Assassins, Haras Malki of Ra's al Ghul."

Jason loses his memory after his dip in the Lazarus Pit, and Ra's uses it to turn him into a weapon.

Fine. If no one’s going to tell him the truth, he’ll figure it out himself.

The ballerinas were circling now; Giselle doing pirouettes en dehours in the middle of her ring of spirits, and Bruce could see the spinning figures and the milky fog reflecting back in a hazy white ring around Jason’s pupils.
The veil that was draped over Giselle was much more like a shroud than anything, opaque like a concealing mist, and something tiny and strong hit his heart when he saw the glimmer of a tear reflecting off of Jason’s waterline, rolling quickly down his too-gaunt cheek. Hidden by him ducking his head, as though he could sense Batman’s covered eyes on him.
Bruce granted him the privacy of looking away.
