Summary
Nagi isn’t a stranger to curious questions about his relationship.
He’s gotten used to it, of course, but it doesn’t make it any less of a hassle than it has. Some people are confused and baffled about the concept of four people dating at once. Others are curious about how the relationship works, how’d they even meet and get together in the first place. He usually lets either Isagi or Bachira take the wheel on those types of questions — after all, like many of his peers have said, he’s a man of a few words.
It’s the questions that target Nagi specifically, that want his input and his input only are the questions that he really can’t worm out of.
Strangely, they’re mostly about his relationship with Rin.

The silence stretched between them then, thick and awkward. Not because they had nothing to say; because they had too much. Too many questions neither wanted to voice first. Too many unspoken rules from Hell suddenly meaningless here.
Vox finally stood, joints cracking in protest. Annoying. Stupid human body. “Look. All I know is we woke up like this. On Earth. Together. With all our memories and none of our powers. So, congratulations, deer boy, you’re stuck with me.”
Alastor pinched the bridge of his nose, inhaling sharply through his teeth. “Let me get this straight. I have been forcibly deposited into a mortal vessel, next to you, with no warning, no explanation, and no immediate means of escape?”
“That’s the gist,” Vox said.
Alastor stared at him.
Then laughed.
Or Alastor and Vox find themselves into a different realm with human bodies.

“My, my,” Alastor drawled, hoping Vox didn’t notice the waver in his voice. “Such violent devotion. I hope these aren’t just empty threats, my dear.”
Vox growled, the lights above them flickering violently as he slammed his free hand down onto the table on Alastor’s other side with a loud bang, caging him fully.
“Try me,” Vox snarled, “Seven fucking years, Alastor. You’re lucky I didn’t drag you back by force.”
Alastor hummed softly. “And why didn’t you?” He raised his hand, and slowly brought it up to Vox’s face. “You certainly had the means.”
The moment his finger’s brushed against Vox’s cheek, a cold metallic pressure cinched around Alastor’s throat.
A tight, glowing blue chain.
Or
Alastor accepted Vox’s proposal all those years ago, and Hell has never known peace since.

Following the finale, the hotel and the Vees decide to forbid the now-free Alastor and the now-subdued Vox from seeing each other after the stunt they’ve pulled, afraid they’d cause more trouble for hell.
But obsessive hatred runs quite deep, and if the two can’t find a way to ruin each other’s lives in hell, they’d risk everything to find another way in another place.
Somewhere out there exists a universe in which Alastor and Vox are as close in every sense as possible. Geographically, temporally, emotionally. An alternative version of Al and Vincent on Earth in the modern times. One day, they begin to get spontaneously possessed by their demon counterparts, whose plan consists of tormenting each other in their bodies.
Their possessions won’t always be timely consistent, leading to a few teeny-tiny... mishaps.
