And all at once, the barrier retreats, and in its place is Anakin, all of him. Obi-Wan can feel grooves and gouges, blackened, pitted scars upon the marrow of his being, carved by such terribly Dark works. But the blemishes are only that. The beating core, the blazing heart, the Light of him still lives on, despite it all.
(And Obi-Wan knows now, in the luminous energy imbuing his very bones, that he would do anything, anything, to keep that Light alive.)

Anakin and Obi-Wan woke up weeks before the beginning of the Clone Wars with memories of the next seven years. While they still struggle to accept both what they’ve done and what was done to them, they’ve started on the road to healing and atonement.
Now, they begin to plan how to defeat Darth Sidious while reacclimatizing to their lives from before the war. There is still much personal trauma for them to work through as they try to deal with their past and prepare for their future. But, as long as they have each other, nothing is insurmountable.

Summary
The Jedi speak of the will of the Force, but no unified consciousness exists to direct fate. The Force pulls on itself just as much as it influences the lifeforms it spurred into being. It is a growing, writhing, living presence. But for the light to endure, a warning had to make it through the obscuring darkness.
One standard year into the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi is granted a glimpse of the future and a new gift. With others' attachments and intentions now made visible, he is thrust onto a path that takes him further and further away from the Jedi Order. Justice for the Clones becomes a priority - by any means necessary. The support of one Clone in particular slowly becomes vital to Obi-Wan's wellbeing as he is forced to make an impossible choice.

“Right.” Boba was too drunk and Obi-Wan was too dead for them to be having this conversation. “So, what are you doing here, if you’re actually dead and I’m not hallucinating.”
Obi-Wan sighed a little bit. “I’m here to ask a favor that may or may not ruin your life.”
Boba blinked at him. “Well, at least you’re honest about it."
Obi-Wan looked exhausted. Boba had always kind of assumed that dying meant you got to rest, but Obi-Wan seemed far from rested. “Vader has gotten an idea in his head—” And yep, Boba could see where Obi-Wan was going with his whole ‘may or may not ruin his life’ bit. “—that he can change the past.”
Boba snorted. “Has anyone ever told Vader that he’s delusional? You can’t change the past."
Except Obi-Wan didn’t agree.

This is really, really good. Unfinished, and who know when or if it’ll update, but still worth it. The unfinished-ness hurts a little though—the time travel gets confessed to and their familtpy starts to form in the last published chapter—so know that before going in for future readings.

Summary
R2-D2 was hoping for a little bit of excitement when he was sent with Mistress Padme and Little Ani as part of Mistress Padme's protection. That was not what he got.
Now, Jedi Kenobi is clearly in trouble. As far as R2 can see, the best way to keep Mistress Padme safe is to save Jedi Kenobi.
Clearly, R2-D2 is the droid for the job.

The first work in this series is absolutely fantastic; I devoured it all in one day. The second has one chapter so far, but it’s a beefy one. Last update was a year ago. Regardless of whether or not the author winds up finishing, the series as it stands is definitely worth re-reading more than once.
