Bobby rubs his hands up and down her bare shoulders, his attention never once leaving her, no matter how much she trembles and cries in pathetic, hitching bursts like a coward, too afraid of her duty to push him away and find Celine, too scared to fall on her own sword like she should, because her body is weak and her mind is too and this is all she's ever really wanted—to be held like she's easy to love.
