Not since the Kraang took over.
It had changed to a hideous red that replicated the colour of blood.

CJ takes Leo with him as they go back to the past, everything going to plan even though they both get separated from each other. Leonardo get's the key and finds his family from the past, April finding CJ. This go as well as they could with Leonardo being traumatized from the invasion but unfortunately even after a heart to heart, Leo grabs the key to hopefully learn more from Draxum, unfortunately he doesn't even get there before he's attacked.

Summary
All of his life, Michelangelo has been the glue that held his family together. No one asked him to, no one told him to, he just took it upon himself one day to dry tears and remind his family they are loved.
And when the world ended Mikey gathered up all the people he could reach into his arms and shielded them from the roaring tsunami that threatened to consume them all, and when the waves claimed some of the people he protected he just held tighter and refused to let the remaining ones shatter.
He has seen thousands and thousands of people die, felt when their spirits left the physical plane and went somewhere he couldn’t protect them, and with every death the fire in his chest burned brighter and brighter.
So when the resistance fell and his only remaining sibling asked him to sacrifice himself to send their last hope to the past, Mikey called upon that roaring bonfire in his chest and said, “We’re not letting anyone else die.”

Donnie had slinked into the kitchen as Leo finished up his first cup of coffee for the morning. The silence filled with the sizzle of bacon and the coffee machine doing its job. Mikey dancing around the kitchen almost like a ballerina on stage. Leo watched him with a silent chuckle as Donnie sat lackadaisical next to his twin.
The morning felt good. Until a loud and painful scream came from Raph’s room. Startling all of the brothers to action. Running toward the sound with hearts racing.

This wasn't the plan.
Leonardo and Mikey talked about this. He was going to stay in the present while Junior went to the past to rewrite the future. But for whatever reason, his brother chose to toss Leo through the portal as well.
Finding themselves in the past, two days before the key would be stolen, Leonardo thinks they might have an advantage. Take it before anyone else gets the chance to and bury it forever. But when he and Casey break into the museum, they find someone else there, someone that Leonardo swore died five years ago.
He'd like to think it'd make their time in the past easier and better, but maybe fate isn't so easily swayed.

Leo get's split into different parts of himself sadness/anxious (Blue), anger/regret (Fury) , confidence/joy (Guts), leader/serious (Sapphire), and faceman/ego (LEO). Ego is left with their brothers while the rest go hide to make the spell permanent, his brothers don't know until donnie figures it out and try to find a them to get them all back together. Too bad the leo's aren't too keen on that happening and so they have to convince them one at a time, not realizing the hardest one to convince was the one they first met.

“He’s alive, my darling,” his mother told him. In the dream, she sounded so certain. The clan symbol on her obi seemed to glow, a warm, shining thing that cast all darkness and doubt aside. “Go and bring my grandbaby home, okay?”
Or: Leonardo grew up in a Hidden City orphanage, but he had a home waiting for him all along.

Other Mikey has a huge pout on his face, but it’s without heat and it looks like it could break into a smile at any minute. “I thought your name was 'the Holy Chalupa' for 3 hours! You almost had me worship you!”
OR
2012 and Rise Mikeys meet accidentally in Dimension X and they hit it off immediately (to no one's surprise). When their brothers all meet face to face a little while later, let's just say they're rightfully confused when they see their youngest brothers greet each other like life-long friends.
