Hybrids of all types, even documented robots and aftermath of curses and magic.
There isn't bad discrimination in the world, not terribly so... But thats too optimistic saying there isnt any.However, there's rules to be followed.
Like no viruses. No illness, no mad cow disease type plague allowed without many many rules.

Where Mumbo is a vampire but vampirism is considered a illness not unlike rabies and has to kinndaaa hide it.

Xisuma desperately wanted to promise his friends they wouldn’t be taken again, that he could keep them safe, but he’s not strong enough to lie to them like that. He might shatter into a million pieces if he broke a promise like that.
He’s already shattering, looking down at the screen in his lap.
Thirteen names greyed out in the tab, what should been a sleep indicator if not for the handful of messages he has confirming his fears.
His Hermits were gone again. Just like that.
There was no fanfare, no foreboding feeling in his chest telling him something was on the server. Even the weather was beautiful.

After the same group of Hermits get taken for the sixth time, Xisuma is fed up with his own inability to keep them safe. He tries everything, pouring over every piece of code until a lead hidden in plain sight appears. However, that lead entangles him and his remaining Hermits in a story full of more horror than Xisuma accounted for.
