Summary
Decepticon victory parties often had the unfortunate consequence, unfortunate in his eyes at least, of getting wildly out of hand very quickly. Some parties, very rarely, went down in the Decepticon history books as ‘legendary’ while the vast majority were never spoken of again lest you wished to be shot at by any one of the many participating mechs. That being said, the Decepticons were no strangers to throwing absolute ragers, quite the opposite really. So, it was safe to say that after millennia of these parties Soundwave knew exactly how to navigate them while keeping a watchful eye.
He only had a few rules to keep himself at a safe enough distance from the chaos that laid before him.
AKA: The fic where Soundwave gets piss drunk and everyone goes feral over the realization that he does indeed have a personality.

Megatron lets out a cackle, the answer so simple, it comes forth without command. “Hatred! For the Autobots!”
A nano-klik passes.
“And for complete control of Cybertron and the great wide galaxy! Everybody knows that!” Megatron continues.
Shockwave nods in approval. “Of course. However, from what you have described, it appears that that very source of hatred is no longer sufficient in keeping the armies satisfactorily rallied. It’s deathly unfortunate, but not every mech can be as noble and focused as you, my lord. After all these millennia, something new must be introduced to keep them on their pedes. And that’s where my latest invention comes into play.” Gesturing to the weapon held in Megatron’s grasp, Shockwave announces his achievement with a flourish.
“Introducing, the Love-botimiser 9000!”

Starscream holds the lip gloss forward.
“Want a taste?” He asks. From this close, Soundwave can feel a slight aroma coming from him, something sweet and fresh. The lip gloss glistens in slightly different colors—silvers and blues, all very light.
The tube is close to his face, and Soundwave makes a motion to grab it, but Starscream moves it out of reach with a coy flick of his wrist and by lifting his arm slightly. “Ah-ah-ah.”
His expression is light, somewhere between mocking and expectant. From this angle, his optics look impossibly big.
“From the source, Soundwave. Obviously.”
And, just to make sure he cannot be misinterpreted, Starscream taps his lips with a digit, twice.

Summary
A space bridge accident strands both Optimus Prime and Starscream on an unknown planet, filled with mechanical monsters. Once Starscream decides that immediately stabbing Optimus in the back is a bad idea, the two form an uneasy alliance. Just until they can get off this hostile world.
But cooperation breeds grudging appreciation (and even more grudging attraction). Each uncovered secret on this mystery world brings them closer to returning to endless war. Can they keep fighting as if nothing has changed? Or will they take the chance for something new?
