Kaede Akamatsu and Rantaro Amami have seen a lot, considering they’re trapped in a deadly killing game run by a band of robot bears. But ghosts? That might be a little much.
There are four ghosts haunting the walls of the Ultimate Academy, visible only to Kaede and Rantaro. The four seem to like them a lot—enough to dedicate all of their time to keeping the two alive. It shouldn’t be hard, right? They say they have experience with killing games. They’re experts.
There’s just one problem with that. While it’s true they’ve all participated in killing games… none of them lasted very long.
[Or, a V3 AU/rewrite where Kaede and Rantaro are haunted by Sayaka, Leon, Twogami and Teruteru, and the script is ripped up into pieces.]

This has no relation to the canon series, as Hope’s Peak is later changed to Marmoreal Academy. The theme of the story is the popular fairytale Alice in Wonderland.

Shaken by his time as a Remnant of Despair as well as the Jabberwock Island killing game, Gundham is sent home to stay with his mother for a while and fulfill his community service requirements at his animal sanctuary. However, once he, Kazuichi, and Sonia get there, they discover exactly how much it's changed since the Tragedy.
(Took minor liberties with canon, so sorry about that. Some flashbacks to the Tragedy have a UDG vibe because your boy just finished watching a playthrough of that game and absolutely digs it)
(BLANKET CONTENT WARNINGS: depression, PTSD, violence, mentions of death (human and animal), and intense descriptions of self-mutilation and body horror in some chapters. suicide attempt in one chapter. explicit smut/sex in one chapter.)

Kaito hates Kokichi… but he hates the killing game even more. In the cold, cavernous Exisal hangar, Kaito stares into the poison-fevered eyes of the Ultimate Supreme Leader and makes a decision: the killing game is over. He will not kill Kokichi. He will not drop the press and entomb this child inside the killing game he claims to despise. So, Kaito comes up with a plan to save Kokichi’s life, but to pull it off, the two of them will have to work together inside the Exisal, trick Monokuma into reaching a false verdict, and end the class trial before Kokichi succumbs to the Strike-9 poison.

But things don't turn out as planned when she and fifteen other students fall unconscious and find themselves in some strange resort. They are told that the school has sent them all on a special vacation, and despite a few oddities it seems that's all this is. But then a black and white bear shows up and tells them that they're not allowed to leave. Now they're all stuck in a game of this bear's own design: either live in peace in this resort for the rest of their lives, or murder a fellow classmate and fool everyone else to escape. When she doesn't know who could be tempted to kill, Takara has to figure out the truth about why they were forced into this game, or die trying.
