Summary
Alastor always had something to hide; His unsavory deer features, his month-long yearly ruts, his missing soul, and his status as a carrier. They were all easy enough to hide, his antlers were kept small enough to go mostly noticeable, his ears blended with his hair fairly well and were kept as still as possible. His hooves, hidden in shoes, much like how he hid his tail under his pants and coat. Any fur was covered in the same manner.
His ruts were never an issue. He merely got territorial, but who would question a few extra murders each year?
As for his soul, nobody needed to know that Alastor was kept on a leash.His unwanted womb? Nobody would ever know about it, even if it killed him. He was infertile anyway, he reasoned.
That was, until his rut-addled brain chose his first ever partner, and Alastor was stuck with a damn near impossible secret to keep from the others and sudden attachment issues that he wanted nothing to do with.
