And Celegorm? Well, Celegorm simply wants a fight, wants revenge, wants to see his debts repaid. He wants to tear that godforsaken forest apart piece by piece, one step further on the inescapable road to their inevitable end.
He knows of monsters, after all. Knows how to speak their tongue, how to coax them along. His brothers, by then, are hardly any different.
Celegorm wants it all to end. He cares little, now, for how they will achieve such a thing.
The Fëanorians, the Second Kinslaying, and how they all reached that point—an attempt to trace their fall from grace, from Valinor to Doriath.

Jon saw the lines around Dany’s mouth harden. “My brother is dead.” The Queen answered.

He bows to Wei Wuxian, sword in hand, sleeves falling properly. Wei Wuxian bows in return, and the sect leaders begin the opening courtesies, and for all of ten minutes Lan Wangji is under the impression that he is betrothed to a boy who is perfectly normal and acceptable apart from an unfortunate tendency to fidget with his clothes.
That impression does not last.

Summary
Mairon successfully invades Valinor with Ar-Pharazon's army.
The Valinor elves are captured, and Mairon succeeds in opening the Door of Night, and releasing Melkor, who decimates the Valar's resistance, and takes Valinor under his control, and the Valar prisoners in the halls of Mandos, and takes Eonwe as his and Mairon's personal slave.
Melkor's first act, is to take vengeance upon the Valar cruelly, for separating him for so long from the one being he truly cares for, Mairon.The Valar ripped Mairon and Melkor apart, now, Melkor does the same to them.
