Sniper frowned down at his watch. “...About 6pm. How come?”
Demo forced a smile and shook his head dismissively. “Nothing, just tired is all.” He stretched his arms out wide, letting out a long yawn as the pair reached the door to his bedroom. “Well: goodnight love. See you in the morning.”
“Goodni-” Sniper was interrupted by a quick peck on the cheek, followed by the door shutting firmly in his face.

Basically what the title says. Not exactly a faithful recreation of saw, i got the idea for this after watching the first two movies. There may be a reference or two snuck in somewhere though.
A familiar face appears on the screen: Greymann. He clears his throat and begins to speak.
“Greetings, Dr. Ludwig and Mr. Conagher. I’m sure you’re wondering where you are, and what on earth is going on. Well, I can tell you that you two have been kidnapped by my robots and placed in this room for a very important purpose. I would like to hire you to design a new mercenary for me: one that is half human, half robot.”
Medic and Engineer share a glance as the TV continues.
“You see- my robots tend to be flimsy, and cost a lot of money to power. However, human mercenaries are not nearly as obedient, and are often annoying. Your task is to design something that solves both these problems.

They seem surprised to see us- surprised to see me in particular. Demo, who had been snoring on the couch, lurches forward to gawk at me. I wave at them to say hi.
“What on earth is that thing doin’ in here, laddie!?”
Scout pats me on the shoulder.
“Relax, we uh, recycled ‘im. Clean slate, Engie said.”
“Why?”
“Well me and Engineer found ‘im fritzin’ out after a battle. Engie wanted to know if he could fix ‘im, and I thought it would be cool to have another Scout around.”

Ignores the events of scream fortress two (the tf2 Halloween event)
I put the tf2 characters through a hunger games simulator remixed as a zombie survival simulator as a writing experiment. I had to do a lot of editing as the simulator is quite old and I wanted make sure that the story stays somewhat true to the characters. This is my first proper published piece of writing, so my apologies if it's a bit rough around the edges. I have the outline all worked out but I'll be writing the chapters along with you readers.
