Tommy remembered the crushing metal against metal and heavy screeching of tires on gravel. The sound of glass breaking came out of nowhere, hurting his sensitive ears.
Nowadays, he listens to music to drown out the constant ringing that infected his mind. The sound made his instincts go haywire at random, though he could also guess another reason for that would be that he had no gaze or burrow.
All he had was a car, a few hundred dollars, online school, and a couple shiny golden trinkets to his name.
(Or I saw getaway driver tommyinnit and instantly fell in love with the concept, then found out there was barely none and thought, fuck it! Imma make my own!)

He slammed his foot down on the brake of his stolen car and shifted into drive, ignoring the chaos of the superpowered fight going on less than a block away. He was about to pull out of the alley he was hidden in when the passenger door was abruptly yanked open. Tommy jumped, head snapping towards the door.
He came face to face with a man wearing an opaque black veil.
Shit.
Or: Tommy is a teenager on the run from the number one superhero in the city, Dream. In his most humble opinion, he's doing great at staying under the radar while making his escape attempt.
That is until three of the most feared villains in the city decide he's now their getaway driver. Fuck his life

Continuous banging on his apartment door typically wasn’t Colt.
Ryland’s twin brother thought that kind of thing was rude. Colt always knocked exactly three times, paused, then knocked another five if Ryland didn’t answer after the first set. Ryland had once pointed out that this system was objectively insane and Colt had argued back that it was “predictable” and therefore polite.
Which meant whoever was currently trying to beat Ryland’s door off its hinges was definitely not Colt.

Ryder bolted back to the window his eyes dead set on Colts twin. Colt wasn’t bad looking, obviously, that applied to his twin aswell. And if Ryder wanted to get any sliver of attention, even from Colt, he could do the same thing everyone was doing to that nerdy man. Shamelessly flirt with him.
Tl;dr Ryder flirts with Grace as a joke. It turns out it’s not a joke anymore.

When his hand falls away, Six watches him process what is standing at his door. His eyes go from Six, down to Claire, then back up to Six.
He laughs, high and stressed, then closes the door in their face.
OR, Six needs help taking care of Claire after they break free from their respective jails. He decides that his younger brother Ryland Grace is the solution.
