So here he was, alone in the cold ice rink that was slowly filling out. Lance had wanted to put him in the VIP section, but Fernando refused and instead, he was right in the middle of the Canadiens fans. He liked it best here because he would suddenly become anonymous, no one was paying attention to him. No one was asking why a Formula One driver was sitting there with a personalised hoodie sporting the number 18. It also meant that when Lance arrived on the ice to warm up he could look at his fans and light up like the sun without people asking why.
