Summary
Never liked how Hawks never actually found a support system after all the implied stuff he went through, this is basically an angst/comfort fic for me. The Aizawa Yamada family, Miruko, Yagi, Nezu and Jeanist, he would actually sell his wings for, hell he’d sell himself back to the commission if it kept them happy.
The newest addition, he thought distantly, eyes dilated like an eclipsed moon, was fried chicken.

Kaina almost reprimands him for his language but it’s very likely that those are the exact words she used. She hangs her head low and huffs, tapping the corner of the box against the floor rhythmically.
“Okay, yeah, well we take stuff from him, only, ‘cus he gives gifts to good kids or whatever.” She shrugs at the boy, frustrated; explaining who Santa is shouldn’t be this fucking complicated.
Keigo looks even more suspicious now, but he’s also simultaneously so confused, that he doesn’t know which part of Kaina’s sentence he should counter first.
“I’m– I’m not a good kid.”
“You’re the best kid,” Kaina blurts out before she can stop herself.

Kaina and Keigo have a modest Christmas morning. Kaina makes an abomination in the kitchen and Keigo still eats it.
