Naruto is kinda pissed, if he's honest.
Jiraiya ditching him to go do some "research" isn't anything new. It's also not the worst thing in the world. Being caught along with him when his unwilling subject inevitably discovers him is certainly worse, or having to try and edit his ramblings into something resembling an actual book.
But Jiraya also, apparently, didn't settle his tab. And told the innkeeper that he gave Naruto the money to do so. Which is funny, because Naruto can't say he knows anything about such money.
Now, he's an hour into doing the innkeeper stupid favors to get out of the whole thing instead. At least this is the last one, he thinks as he knocks on the door next to theirs. Mentally, Naruto is already halfway back in his bed when the door opens to red clouds on black fabric and his breath abruptly gets stuck in his throat. Oh no. Midoriya is a detective fresh out of the police academy when he gets his first job at the Musutafu Detective Agency or the MDA for short. This was the third vigil he’d been to this year, and it was only February.
Last night, a six year old girl named Asami Sato took her life by swallowing a bottle of her mother’s pills. She did this only two hours after her own mother told her she should never have been born.
Asami Sato was born quirkless. She was six, and had not developed a quirk at four like the majority of the population.
Now, Asami Sato was an Orchid. A beautiful, fleeting memory.

It was too condescending, like they pitied Izuku for something while also finding him incompetent. Izuku snapped his head up with a vicious growl on his lips, only to be met with the face of Tomura Shigaraki. Izuku blinked. That wasn't possible. Shigaraki was dead. Izuku should know, he’d killed the man himself.
“How?” Izuku gasped, realizing just then that his throat was so raw he could hardly form words.
“I can explain that.” Another voice called from the door. Izuku’s bleary eyes snapped over to the doorway, finding Dabi leaning against the frame. What the hell was going on?

When gifted an opportunity to get back at the hero society that almost led him to suicide, Izuku Midoriya takes the chance. Along the way, he finds he's much more powerful than he's ever known, he finds who his father is, and who his real friends are. Slipping into Yuuei's class 1-A as the traitor, Izuku is the rat the League needs to get a leg up on the heroes, however, he's not the only one. Tasked with both feeding info to the villains and putting on an act of as little hero worshipping teens, the traitors must deduce who the fellow snake in the garden is without alerting the others. Regardless of the outcome, hero society will fall. They shouldn't have turned their backs on Midoriya, and now they would reap what they sow.
