That shift started off normal enough, nothing different from a usual night; drunk people stumbling in looking for more alcohol and then harassing the (probably) sixteen-year-old behind the bar. They, of course, didn’t know he was sixteen. Even if people didn’t know him as nineteen, drunk people rarely cared about your age. It was as disgusting as it sounded. Then it got... weird. Well, Tommy didn’t know if weird was the correct wording but it got Tommy and Sam to exchange a what the fuck is this shit glance.

Tommy, is just a regular person who lives with his two roommates and works at his aunt's cafe.
Despite the vigilantes and even villain's who come for a drink and the tension between the public and the heroes, Tommy is fine not being involved in the superhero world. However things start to change when a new person enters the shop.
Sometimes not all secrets can be kept hidden.

Ranboo takes a few presents to Phil and Techno. Nice soft shirts, (that honestly could be silk but somehow not) with wonderful embroidering on them. At first it's a rare occurrence, Ranboo saying he found really nice pieces from some shop he stumbled upon. They look expensive but Techno and Phil don't question it much because Ranboo is loaded, it's his money ya know?
But its the small details that they start to see, the small hardcore hearts hidden very nicely in the hand stitched patterns of Phil's coats and shirts. The way that every time Techno doesn't like a design, a better looking and better fitting one comes after it. It's a little weird to say the least.
Ranboo himself in nicer suits, ones that actually fit him and seem to be embroidered with soft purple flowers,,, interesting.
------Or, Tommy wants to repay Techno for some of the clothes he took from their time together and he ends up going down a rabbit hole. He starts making things for everyone in his life, and who's to stop him?
Mending shredded cloth is a hard thing to do (but not impossible)

It was surprisingly hard to keep a vigilante presence off the radar.
Somehow, it was when Tommy was using his identity that could literally turn invisible, that he’d been almost immediately clocked by the heroes. He’d really only been just starting to have a presence when the heroes cornered him about it. Surprisingly, instead of attempting arrest, they’d recruited him. And who was he to say no to free access to the hero database and nice bathrooms?
One power per secret identity, that was his rule, and he still had a couple more up his sleeve. The heroes could have one. As a treat. He was generous like that. He’d just take more care to keep his other identities off the radar.
Simple.
If only things worked out as planned. Somehow, it hadn’t taken long for his next vigilante persona to be noticed as well, though not by heroes this time.
“I hear you talk to ghosts.” Said a deadpan voice.--
Tommy can't help wanting to help, and he keeps getting powers so why not have more than one secret identity, yeah? Hero, vigilante, villain, coffee barista, and maybe one other.
Or I read so, so many vigilante fics that I caved in and stuffed all of my ideas into one fic.

And once they finally come of age, the boys decide it’s time to claim the only person who ever showed them kindness, before anyone else can.
AKA: Raising three homeless kids, and then when they grow up, they try to fuck you. I promise it’s not as bad as it sounds lol. Good old unhealthy family dynamics and, as one person on Twitter called it, ‘reverse grooming.’
