The Fatui plan and execute an invasion of the City of Mondstadt at night, led by Dottore, Pantalone, Capitano, and Tartaglia. Diluc manages to warn Kaeya before they get to him, giving him time to flee the city so he may seek help from the neighboring countries.
However, they both know that Diluc isn't getting out of this unscathed.

The other peak lords take notice how strange Shen Qingqiu is behaving. How they can no longer touch him without seeing fear in his eyes. How he quickly loses focus and seemingly forgets where he is. The Peak Lords realize that they need to figure out a solution when they are no longer able to treat him for Without A Cure without risking a qi deviation.
