“You’re Ichigo’s friend, aren’t you?" Yuzu sounded surprised. "I’m sorry but he’s not home right now. I’ll be sure to tell him that you came by.”
Karin waited to hear the sound of the door close, but instead there was some quiet discussion in the hallway. Finally Yuzu came back into the living room with a large, dark-skinned teen in tow.
“He says that Ichigo told him that you weren’t feeling well, so he brought some soup... Wasn’t that nice of him, Karin?”
While Ichigo has disappeared somewhere doing god-only-knows-what, his best friend comes over to check on his little sisters. Despite being sick, however, Karin is still not inclined to accept a stranger as a babysitter.
