Summary
Magnus Chase had always feared wolves ever since he was a kid. He had seen them hunting and howling in the woods near his house. Sincehe had died and gone to Valhalla, his fear had only heightened, especially after he had to fight off Fenrir, a giant wolf who was prophesied to bring about Ragnarok, the end of the world.
He always had nightmares about them and could never shake off the fear. But when he became a demigod and found out that he was the son of a Norse god, he thought that his fear of wolves would go away.
However, things were not that easy. His first adventure as a demigod was to retrieve the Sword of Summer with the help of his newfound friends Samirah al-Abbas, Hearthstone, and Blitzen. Magnus had never told anyone about his fear of wolves, not even his friends.

Summary
A collection of all the stories in Traveling Thieves, which is my Dark Fantasy, Hybrid Slavery, super angsty AU that spawned from my Whumptober 2023 prompt fills! Currently in semi-chronological order except for the first fic in the series, which will always be “I see the danger, it’s written there in your eyes” which if anyone does want to read the series in chronological order, I’d like them to start there! ^-^ I also occasionally place some stories in specific locations that I think work best for the reading order that aren't exactly where they'd be timeline-wise!
WARNING: THIS IS A WHUMP-CENTRIC, ANGST-CENTRIC, HURT/COMFORT (SOMETIMES NO COMFORT) DARK FANTASY AU.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the tags before you dive into any stories of this one, this series is intended to be a place for me to try my hand at writing and exploring some darker themes.
There will be plenty of happy times in this, too, though! It's not all doom and gloom, I promise! I hope you'll enjoy!

Summary
So maybe getting trapped in ice a few days ago hadn't been the best for a merperson who was still figuring out how life entirely above the surface worked. Jimmy didn't really understand it. All he knew was that a few days ago Scott had started coughing, yesterday he'd felt hot, and today when they'd woken up in the evening to begin their flight North once again, he just...hadn't woken up. His breaths were rattling, his eyes wouldn't open, and this wasn't it. This wasn't how Jimmy could bear to have this go, this fragile beloved person he'd found who said those words he hadn't heard, hadn't been allowed to remember, for seven long years. He needed to find help. He needed to find something, anything, that might change this, because fate had already been cruel enough...please, don't also take away his beloved before he could even manage to admit his own name.
But who would ever help a runaway avian?
{In which Scott has fever dreams, Jimmy has anxiety, but that's not news, Martyn's lucky he bought some citrine, and Ren is semi-fluent in avian distress noises.}

Summary
Nearing spawn, X notices a crumpled shape in the grass. As he gets closer, he sees that it's a player- based on their name tag, they’re clearly Solidarity. X hears a faint noise, and as he lands, he realizes it's coming from the player.
The player is a young man, blonde and covered with dirt. There's an ashen look to his skin and hair, but the canary wings on his back are bright, even in the night. The man’s eyes are wide open, gazing at the sky. He chokes on his own blood, an arrow sticking out of his throat.
Or, everyone on 3rd Life wakes up on Hermitcraft after their final deaths.

Summary
After narrowly escaping an assassination attempt ordered by his own father, Prince Scott has a plan. He's going to cross the continent, from Rielle to Prismen, and seek refuge with his friend, Queen Lizzie. With only a few pieces of jewelry to trade and the smallest bit of magic inherited from his mother, the journey won't be easy—especially seeing as his last surviving guard, Jimmy, seems pretty determined to get himself killed in the process.
If they can outrun the bandits on their trail, they may be able to draw the continent back from the brink of war. But with rumors of the four Saints walking the continent again, their world may still find itself on the precipice of change.
