Furrowing his brows, he asks the inevitable question.
“Who will I be undercover as?”
Silence lingers for just a second too long before Ranpo smirks around his lollipop.
Sliding it out of his mouth with a mischievous glint in his eyes, he answers smoothly:
“A burlesque dancer.”
Atsushi chokes.

One month before he's set to be released from juvie, Kazutora starts having dreams of the future. With the goal of preventing Baji's death, Kazutora tries his best to change the events that will come to pass.
This would be a lot easier if he knew he was seeing events from more than one timeline, or if he got some more context for what little information he's been able to glean. Extra context like, for example, the fact that he is the one that kills Baji in the future. There's also the fact that his mental and emotional states are a bit precarious at the moment, but he's determined to ignore that, thank you very much.

“Listen” He says, clears his throat. He can still taste Mikey’s lips on his own, can still feel the weight of his body against his chest. It’s not a memory, just an imprint, he fucks Mikey so often it feels stranger without him. “I meant to say earlier…” His throat gives out.
Mikey’s eyes find his, blink slowly, grin forming tentatively. “What’s that tone? Am I in trouble?”
He wishes Mikey were the issue but the itch and the guilt inside Ken are eating at his stomach, crawling up his throat. His thumb rubs the gold band on his ring finger in circles.
“Emma is expecting”
There is a cicada punctuated silence.
“Congratulations” Mikey says without hesitation.
