Summary
Roy has memorised the knocks of everyone important to him, and the generals he likes the least, so he already has a good idea who’s paying him a Thursday night visit. That surety increases as he creeps downstairs and the banging continues. Roy still slips on his gloves; paranoia hasn’t backstabbed him yet.
He twitches back the curtains in the foyer’s little reading nook to check. It’s a sea of downpouring snow and one bundled up Edward Elric, who stands miserably on his stoop. Ed catches Roy looking at him immediately, glares, and starts banging on the door with both the knocker and his spare fist.
