  1. Summary

This series contains the ficlets, one-shots and poems written for Fluffbruary 2022.
Although they can be read separately, they all tell the story, at different moments, of Aziraphale and Crowley slowly building a home in the South Downs. Here you will find lots of fluff, a sentient tree, ornithological outsider POVs, dreams affecting reality, wing grooming, banter, laughter, cuddles, and your favourite innefable duo!
If you read the series, look for easter eggs! Most stories have little references to the other ficlets.
    Enjoy!

    Summary

Dusk comes down like a held breath and Geto Suguru chooses a different edge. The village lives. The phone call goes to Shoko, not Satoru. He walks away shaking and, for the first time since the Star Plasma Vessel, goes home—where soup tastes like metal, where his mother’s hand finds the old circle at his temple, where he realizes the work is turning him into a blade he can’t survive being.

Back at Jujutsu Tech, Gojo Satoru opens an unlocked door and finds a room that’s wrong in the smallest ways. His Six Eyes catalog the absence; his body sleeps only when it smells like Suguru’s shampoo. Shoko prescribes seventy-two hours and triage honesty. Satoru leaves a dozen voicemails; Suguru sends one text: I’m safe. We’ll talk later.

It feels like a promise and a goodbye all at once. They break the way stars do—far apart, still burning toward the same dark.
When they finally touch, it isn’t an explosion, it’s a soft, practiced yes.

    Summary

“Thanks for giving me an excuse to skimp on teaching! Whom do I owe for this impromptu save?” Satoru’s voice is chipper and obnoxious as always, carrying that vapid aura of arrogance even the tinny sound of a burner phone can’t obscure. It falls along the lines of things Suguru expected to hear. Satoru never did pass up a chance to annoy others and make life more interesting for himself, and that’s what makes it all feel so tragically mundane even when it’s really, really not.

    “Yo, Satoru.”

A little anticlimactic, Suguru will admit later. He should have led with something else. Like how he’s alive-not-alive, or how he remembers Satoru’s last words to him. Or maybe that he’s sorry for-

    Summary

The first thought that crosses Suguru’s mind when they enter their rented room is I know this trope. Between the two of them, Satoru is more well-versed in internet culture, but Suguru has read some BL doujinshi—for research!—so he knows what’s about to happen next. And he’s thrilled.

After an annoying mission in a wintry wonderland, Satoru and Suguru get to stay the night in a nice ryokan. If only the heating worked properly.

    Summary

Gojo Satoru wakes up to the same morning again and again.
Not always exactly the same — the clocks stutter, reflections lag behind, his Infinity slips when it shouldn’t. A girl who should be gone is suddenly alive. The vending machines remember old coins. And sometimes there’s a seam in the air that tilts its head when he looks at it.

The loops don’t restart clean. People shift. Memories don’t line up. His scar burns hotter with every day that shouldn’t exist. And through all of it, Suguru is still here — steady, close, warm — like he doesn’t know they might already be running out of time.

Satoru doesn’t know if he’s protecting Suguru from whatever’s fraying reality, or carrying him deeper into it. All he knows is that if the world falls apart, he’s going to be holding onto Suguru when it happens.

Blurred edges between love and dread.

    Summary

“Is it so terrible if I want to ruin a little the luck of those cold-hearted bastards who reject without remorse the genuine feelings of other people?” One pair of stick limbs grab emotionally at their chest while the other pair holds onto Satoru’s right leg as if it were a pole, their body dramatically swaying in feigned despair. Satoru rolls his eyes. “Do they not deserve to suffer a bit for their carelessness? Call it karma or whatever.”

“Buddy, you pushed that executive onto the train rails.”

“Oh, he was an asshole,” the curse easily dismisses with their hand, “Had an affair with two different women and used to hit his children.”

Or, Gojo wins the mission lottery and gets cursed by one peculiar grade 1. It doesn’t matter how easily it tells him what the cure is when the search for it brings him more grievances than the curse itself.
