By the time they neared the rebuilt camp the Sun had long since fallen below the horizon, being swallowed by the depth of night as it crested the mountains far off. Still, with the brightness of the full moon above them and the hellish glow of the erupting Colossus in the distance, the arrival of night brought little change.
As their odd group made their way back into camp, they were welcomed by a rousing celebration. The grizzled human had greeted them, looking worse for wear but stubbornly alive. Shepherd was glad to see the man. None of them knew what the casualties would look like coming out of this battle, with the odds stacked the way they were, and the numbers certainly weren’t what they were beforehand, but even still, he’s more than relieved to see a majority of the crew alive.Series

The eyes would stare, rapt attention never once leaving him.
“We missed you.” They whispered, words unanimous and demanding. “Your story hasn’t ended yet.”
He glared from where he sat, painfully aware of the way the store looked uncanny to a set. The register felt fake, manufactured. The lines of cigarettes behind him looked like a poster. Isles of shitty artificial snacks faded into the darkness of the unlit audience.

A shiver ran up Quackity’s spine and he looked away from the water. Rubbing his arms, he tried to get some heat back into his skin even as the soaked clothing stuck to it.
Just as he was about to ask Cucurucho another thousand questions -that would likely go unanswered, the door once again swung open. Cucurucho paused in its hopping as it too looked towards the door.
Quackity leaned forward to get a better look at the newcomer. Only to see himself looking back.

Beau held her pose as her mind frantically tried to switch gears. Yasha. Yasha was here. Yasha was here and Beau was standing there in her underwear. “This has to be a dream. I’m dreaming, right?”
“I don’t know,” Yasha said with a glint in her mismatched eyes. “Do you dream about me often enough that that’s a possibility?”

In the aftermath of being freed alongside Yasha from Obann's control, in the heart of Rexxentraum and surrounded by potential foes on all sides, Mollymauk Tealeaf accidentally rediscovers the Supernal Surge ability.
It doesn't go well. Fortunately, Caleb is there to help him fix a bad situation, and help him dig into some lingering bad feelings about his time under Obann's control. Sometimes a lot of fussing isn't required. Sometimes, you just need someone who understands what you're feeling well enough to help you find the words.

Summary
Mollymauk Tealeaf wakes up on the side of Glory Run Road one night in the rain. They don't remember anything. All they know to do is get away from the place that they don't even remember to be their own grave.
Fortunately, they make a new friend to save them from being cold and alone again. That new friend - a kind old man with a hummingbird - helps Molly orient themself, helps them remember that they have people waiting, and helps Molly make a plan to get back to them.
And so Molly sets off on a journey of their own, accompanied by the various reserve members of the Mighty Nein. Along the way, they learn more about the good they've done for their friends and about the good their friends have done for the world while they've been gone. Along the way, Mollymauk Tealeaf dances and dreams and celebrates and eventually remembers what's important about themself.
