And if the smile wasn’t shocking enough, Diego noticed something as Kageyama pulled off his practice shirt; a thin black cord looping around his neck, starkly contrasting against pale skin. Which was surprising enough (he didn’t peg Kageyama as the jewelry type), but what hung from the bottom of the necklace stopped Diego in his tracks.
There, dangling from the cord, light catching on its smooth surface, was a ring.

Akaashi makes lunches for Bokuto and himself and he personally delivers it every 2 weeks?? That is commitment, that is love, that is something that is so endearing I just love it so much. And the fact that Akaashi has been waiting this whole time, but he didn't mind it because it was still time he got to spend with Bokuto

Akaashi gets into an accident, and Bokuto rushes HUNDREDS OF MILES to see him. This fic features Akaashi high on pain meds, where he confesses to Bokuto. I love how sweet Bokuto and Akaashi are in this fic. I love the reveal of the laptop password
“That’s your own fault,” Bokuto lectures. “You didn’t tell me. KoutarouBokuto0412 .”
Akaashi heats with his blush. “Shit.”
“Don’t you dare be embarrassed,” Bokuto tells him. “It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.”

"A girl?" Dean prods, digging fingers into wounds Sam’s still visibly nursing. Knowing he's hit a pressure point, Dean latches on, unceasing: "Was there a girl?"
For a moment, Sam imagines the truth. The sweet, fleeting satisfaction of bursting that bubble. Imagines if he told his brother: No. There was a boy.

I don't know why I love this AU so much, but I do. Lance gets captured by the Galra and comes back not quite the same...I love that there is a pre-established Klance relationship, and this is such an interesting dynamic that adds an awesome quality to this fic.

And then Sam is not dead, Lucifer is there, and they’re suddenly on a deadline- thirty one hours before their single way home literally ceases to exist. Jack needs to be kept away from Lucifer, Sam needs to be kept away from Lucifer, they need to get thirty three people through a rift miles away, and that’s not even mentioning the fucking war currently being waged all over this- literally -godforsaken planet.
But Sam is alive, (alive, alive, Dean’s brother is alive), albeit having one continuous panic attack. This is fine.
(It is so, so not.)
OR: A retelling of Supernatural’s s13 ep22 “Exodus” told from Dean’s point of view, complete with all the nice fun trauma the writers love to ignore, a bunch of cool archangel headcanons, realistic character interactions, general badassery, characters actually using their brains, logic, and common sense, and a much, much more satisfying ending.

A domestic, curtain-fic sort of piece that explores different sections of what makes Sam Winchester. An alternative to S07E01, where raising our boy's soul doesn't go exactly to plan.
