Summary

She survived actual monsters and the ones of lore paled in comparison, at least at first. After a strange man invades her dreams, she is set on edge though he has ensnared her attention. When the red eyes of a devil appear on the bridge in the form of the new Chief Science Officer, La'an finds herself torn between fleeing from his grip or succumbing to his tempting offer.
