Summary
Set on the day of Homelander's birthday in S3E2 ("The Only Man in the Sky"), Annie goes to bed dreading what his onstage meltdown might mean for the future of The Seven, Vought, and even herself as the new co-captain. But instead of waking up to the inevitable media circus the next day, she finds herself waking up on the same day all over again. Then again, and again, and again. Soon enough Annie realizes that all her clever maneuvers and attempts to escape, or break this time-loop are inconsequential.
And then, her one bold and reckless decision ends up dragging another person into the awareness of this cycle: Homelander.

The staff meeting after Cat had broken her foot had involved a lot of reassigning, since she couldn’t exactly do the usual society beat with her foot in a boot. So much that Clark hadn’t really thought twice when Perry had said “and Kent, you’ll take the new Wayne foundation piece,” because sure, he liked working the philanthropy stories occasionally. It wasn’t until they’d gotten back to their desks that Lois had burst into a fit of snickering and said “oh, I would pay money to see how you’re going to handle Bruce Wayne for two weeks,” and Clark had realized how majorly screwed he was.

The remnants of Sephiroth were incomplete souls however each had the makings to be something more if that just had more time. Time she could give them, to be something more than that of fragments. However, if she sent them alone, they would break, or break the world really. Luckily her good friend Cloud was right there and he always had problems saying no when someone needed help. Maybe together he could change and help more than just the three if given the chance. If he could get past the Turks, Shinra, and Soldiers wanting to know why there were three children running around that looked like mini versions of the General Sephiroth and their keeper a blond man who just might be stronger.

His mind went completely blank. He was dimly aware of Vetinari reeling off his full list of titles in further introduction, and of the woman responding in kind, but Vimes’ own personal universe had shrunk to the size of five fingertips grazing the back of his hip.
A series of little vignettes in which Samuel Vimes comes to realise he's in love with Havelock Vetinari.
Vetinari, of course, already knows.
Basically an excuse to play with a few fluffy romance tropes, as a palate cleanser from all the angst I've been putting out.

Quite by accident, Vimes finds Vetinari in a bit of a predicament as he negotiates with some "foreign ambassadors". Unfortunately, it's not the sort of predicament that one necessarily escapes unscathed. Vetinari is predictably Vetinari about it all, and Vimes just doesn't hold with that sort of thing.
