After the events of Ghostfuckers, Millie convinces Blitzø to see Moxxie's new therapist. It goes surprisingly well, but Blitzø eventually learns that to truly heal, he must undergo the difficult and painful process of being vulnerable.
Or: Blitzø needs therapy so fucking badly that I invented a therapist capable of giving it to him.
This is a weird one, with lots of twists and turns. But Blitzø will get the help he needs, because Dr. Smith is very good at their job.

Summary
In an attempt to usurp Stolas's powers and station, Andrealphus and Stella use illegal magics to strip him of his magic and banish him to the human world. Coincidentally, Blitz finds a poor little owl with a broken wing on one of his jobs and he decides to bring it home to nurse back to health. He spends the next few weeks bonding with his new pet while Stolas gets to know his favorite little imp a little better, and by the time the truth comes out, it's too late and they've both made fools of themselves.

Summary
She pushes an old shirt to the side and softly hoots in surprise at what she has found.
An old film camera.
Via blinks in astonishment and carefully lifts it out of the box. The heavy weight is expected but it still manages to surprise her somehow. This is a really old model, vintage even! Via has never seen one like this in person, only ever in magazines or in old movies.
For a moment her heart drops because at a closer glance the camera looks broken. It's dirty and banged up and there are some weird markings all over the body. In some places the plastic looks almost like it has… melted?
She turns it in her hands and runs a finger over the lid of the film compartment. What looked like ordinary scratches are actually letters, deliberately carved into the surface, faded and barely legible.

Summary
Fizz pushed out of Blitz's hold and slipped through the curtain, and the growl cut off into a squeal. "Fizzie!"
"Ozzie!"
Blitz leaned against the wall, grinning, holding his arm against his bruised ribs. He could just see Fizz and Asmodeus through the crack in the curtains. Fuck, he was beat to shit, and all he could smell for a few long moments was blood and smoke that clung to his clothes, then the faintest hint of lavender. It was practically a Pavlovian response, the way Blitz's muscles loosened.
Wait, lavender--?
The curtains fluttered open, and Blitz felt like he'd been shot directly in the chest, because standing there, frozen, beak open, was Stolas, gripping his stupid top hat and all four eyes wide and trained on Blitz's beat-up form.
"Stolas?"

Summary
Blitz spills over the sides of his cup when he pours the coffee pot. A little puddle forms on the counter but Blitz can't find the energy to clean it up, instead scooping ice out of the office's freezer and letting the cold bite his fingers. Cold is good. It shocks some of the numbness out of him, lets him tune into what the others are talking about. They have a hit on a more important target than usual, one with a security detail. Blitz curses himself for not checking the schedule for today himself. He's known today was coming. He always knows.
Blitz walks into the conference room, sipping his coffee, and stares dully at the whiteboard. He's supposed to come up with a plan, a strategy. Moxxie and Loona are arguing about whether it's better to be sneaky or to be fast, and then he hears his name, and the conversation tapers out. He blinks the room back into focus. Everyone is looking at him.
He clears his throat. "What?"

Better he recognize that I’m not worth it now before I get the chance to completely destroy his life, if I haven’t already.”He pulls his legs into his chest, wrapping his arms around them, and drops his head so that his forehead is resting against his knees. “I’m really not worth it, Fizz,” he mumbles. Emotional exhaustion crashes through him. It echoes in his voice. “You can go home now. I just need to sleep it off.”
“Hold your horses there, cowboy,” Fizz says, voice soft. “That’s my friend you’re talking about there.”

Somehow, Blitzø found himself slipping into position, familiar with the jump in his heart and stutter in his step as he waited in the background, the grooves of being the one behind the curtain set in stone long ago. Hoping against hope Verosika would still have stars in her eyes when she saw him after a performance. Holding his breath for Fizz, time and time again, then with a letter and flower in hand. Quiet as they come, anchored to the floor as he held onto a shot in the dark as if it was all that he had.

“I’m not fucking anyone tonight!” Blitzø yelled. Yeah okay he was already half-hard but the thought of sticking his dick into anything right now made his stomach twist. “I need to fucking- to decompress, alright?” He covered his face with his arms so he wouldn’t have to see their disappointed expressions.
“We don’t need you to fuck anyone tonight,” Fizz interrupted, swinging into Blitzø’s personal space and tugging his arms down. “Calm down there, Buckzo. We just wanted to make sure you’re alright and get your mind off of work. You don’t need to talk about it but we’re going to stick to you anyways.”
“We’ll help you decompress,” said Ozzie. He glanced at the bulge in Blitzø’s pants, never one to miss anything arousal-related. “One way of doing that, if you’d like, could involve the three of us fucking you,” he added, moving closer. “We can turn those mean little brain voices of yours right off, if you’ll let us.”
