Packing is one of Izuku’s least favorite things to do—he normally stuffs things into a bag last minute when travelling, often forgetting toothpaste or socks or whatever it may be since he never carefully plans what to pack. Any time he moved apartments, he was happy to get rid of his possessions in order for him not to pack them.
But this time, he slows down. Takes his time. Memorizes every object, carefully turning it over before deciding to keep or toss it. See if it sparks joy, or however the saying goes.

And Todoroki, who fought his own family and still joined the final fight afterward, even when he had all the reason not to. And Uraraka, who’d seen a villain for exactly who she was, and had still been desperate to save her life.
Izuku thinks about Tenko again. The calm look that passed between them, the way it felt like acceptance of something that should’ve never happened at all.

Izuku swallows.
It’s not fair to dump this all on Kacchan, so he just smiles and interlaces their fingers. Squeezes with what limited ability he has.

You’re in for a tough week before the chemical agent flushes out of your system—but I guess there are a lot of ways to say the same thing, right?

But it was everyone else who was wrong. Raph was the only one who was living in reality.
“Leo. Isn’t. Dead.”
_________________It's been two years since Leo's disappearance. The city has erected a monument in Bryant Park to honor and mourn New York's bravest young hero.
While Leo's statue sits in the park, Raph sits in therapy. Everyone believes Raph is too traumatized, too wounded to process the loss of his brother.
But there's something Raph can't explain, something only he can feel, something everybody wants him to ignore. It whispers softly somewhere in the deepest corners of his mind: he's still here.

Leonardo is dead.
Or, at least, he should be. Instead, he is floating within a colorful vortex that reminds him too much of his own portals. He tries not to think too much about it. But, eventually he is forced to when the vortex spits him out into a world that used to be his home, many, many years ago.
Or; the one where Future!Leo somehow managed to luck out on a one in a million mere millisecond chance of a freak glitch in the space-time continuum that sends him back into the present, where the Invasion has been successfully driven back. And it looks like it was a one-way ticket travel.
Obviously, everybody is So Very Normal about this.
