Summary

The bond between Arthur Pendragon and his servant had always been obvious to those who spent any time in close proximity to them. Whispers of extraordinary loyalty, rumours of a life saved and the debt that had been repaid didn’t spread freely beyond Camelot’s walls but that didn’t stop people from seeing it with their own two eyes (or single eye, or even no eyes; it was not subtle in the slightest).

Summary
Merlin - now going as Colin - has survived both being arrested for murder and becoming friends with Sherlock Holmes. One of these was harder than the other, and it wasn't hanging around in a cushy jail cell. They didn't even torture him! What wusses.
He's almost settled into his new normal, when something old reawakens from a prison-like death and something new joins the hunt. It's going to take every friend he's made (and some reluctant allies) to pull through on this. After all, destiny is calling, and she doesn't like to be kept waiting.

Buck trusted Eddie to help get everyone else home, and Eddie had someone to go home for. Someone who needed him and loved him. Someone who Buck loved, even without ever meeting. He wasn’t going to let Chris grow up without a father. So in the split second he had to think after seeing the communications dish flying at them through the storm that was chasing them off the planet fourteen days early, he’d pushed Eddie out of the way, hoping like hell it would be enough and knowing he wouldn’t live long enough to find out.

Summary
Merlin has magic,” Uther’s words hit Merlin like a ton of bricks, the spirit disappearing as if it was never there.
Merlin closes his eyes, letting out the breath he’s been holding. He feels his back hit the door behind him, holding himself up against it. He doesn’t look at Arthur, just waits.
One breath, two breath, three breath. Nothing.
Merlin opens his eyes, looking up, half expecting Arthur to have disappeared to alert the guards. Arthur is staring at him, he is stock skill, breath coming out ragged and uneven. He looks crushed and not just from expelling his father’s spirit but that must also have contributed to it.
“Arthur,” Merlin tries, swallowing when his voice shakes with the anticipation of Arthur’s reaction.
“Is it true?” Arthur asks, his voice quiet but stern, he still holds the horn tightly in his grip by his side, his knuckles white with the force.
“Arthur I-“
“Yes or no, Merlin,” Arthur interrupts, voice suddenly louder in the empty corridor, he looks Merlin in the eye while he nods wordlessly before looking away, “you-you do. You would betray me? You?”
