Nowadays he stays present by making note of all the things he has, as The Listener taught him to. Cicero has a new home and his very own room, he has seven shiny gold coins in his pocket and deathbell leaves in his pouch, there are three buttons and twelve nails and fifteen pebbles in the jar on his bookshelf. He has had thirty-eight birthdays and the thirty-ninth is coming up soon so he hopes The Listener will be back before then.

Summary
Jon breaks easily, he knows. His edges are sharper than his words, than pen on paper. He must be carefully kept or else he will run at the first sign things are going south. Breakable and sharp and in need of careful keeping, he is a chore. Burdensome to tolerate at the best of times, unbearable at his worst. He scowls at strangers in crowded department stores, cringes when babies cry on the tube, snaps at his coworkers when he is frightened and Jon is so very frightened these days.

Summary
The night of Halloween finds Lee having to trade her shiny Mary-Jane’s for clunky rain boots, unsurprised by the unfavorable weather. The neighborhood they drive to is the type of cookie cutter suburbia that normally makes Lee sort of squirrelly, houses too close together and lawns too manicured, but when everything is cloaked in nighttime and alight with Halloween decorations with the promise of candy at every door…well that’s different. Other kids trick-or-treat in little groups of threes and fours and fives, chattering amidst themselves and unconcerned with Lee who remains alone.

Summary
AU-based series roughly formulated around the No Way Home trailer and movie-multiverse. Absolutely no canon to be found my dude's this is entirely self-satisfying tender romance.
Outside of the first fic these can be read in any order.
2024 update: when I worked on this fic i tried to open a discord server, but the email used was lost many years ago. I haven’t been able to access that discord since it was made 🥲 deepest apologies to anyone who joined and found it empty. I am however still active on twt @FioDoodles!
I’ve wanted to rewrite this series for a while, its my first longfic and very dear to me but I feel that my writing and artistic skills have improved a lot since it was published. I’m not sure that will realistically happen, but it’s on the back-burner. I have always deeply appreciated the kindness shown to me on this fic and I sincerely hope everyone who has commented and followed along is doing well (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)❤️ and maybe one day I’ll see you again in a rewrite of the series.

Jon and Martin go to a Ceilidh, and experience some of the perks of living in Scotland
“A ceilidh,” said Martin with a grin. “That’d be fun, right?”
“A ceilidh?” echoed Jon.
“It’s a dance,” said Martin, slipping his phone back into his pocket. “Scottish dancing – you know, with the spinning, and bagpipes and fiddles.”
Jon wrinkled his brow. “I know what a ceilidh is, Martin. I just – why did you take a photo?”
“To show you,” he said simply. “It’d be fun. C’mon, Jon – we can’t stay holed up in the cottage forever.”
“We should’ve,” muttered Jon. “Bloody freezing out here.”
