Summary
Mike Wheeler has the perfect small town Indiana life. He’s a sweet(?) boy going into the ninth grade, with a beautiful mom, working dad, annoying little sister, and an even more annoying big sister. Eddie Munson let him into the Hellfire Club, and there hasn’t even been a single demon attacking town in months!
Problem, though: Mike can’t eat. Or, rather: Mike isn't eating. And he's trying not to tell anyone that. The unfortunate thing is, people love him -- which means people notice.

She tries to shuffle back- with a shout, holding her clawed side, soaked with blood.
It drops. Dead weight, hits the opening of the overhang, its head perked up like a sunflower, trying to find the sun, or in this case, a torn up girl.
It.. sniffs????.. who knows.
And spins left, right, but not behind. Not yet.
Robin holds her breath, closing her eyes tight.
It screams. The decibels ripping through the air. Robin flinches.
It slowly turns. Its body turning with it.It sniffs.
And there’s no doubt it picks up the smell of blood.

The demogorgon is lifeless, and Will’s never seemed so full of it. He unfurls his hands and lifts his head to meet Mike’s waiting eye, and—for a long while, he just stares, knuckles smearing blood across his upper lip, headlights painting him golden.
I love you, Mike thinks fleetingly, then pitches forward and pukes onto the street.
Mike has a concussion—and a few other issues. Set after the events of Chapter Four: Sorcerer.

Summary
This story takes place during the 18 month time skip in Stranger Things when Will and Mike are living together. It is told from mikes perspective and presents how Mike feels about will. Mike has been struggling with internalized homophobia for years and he doesn't fully realize that until Robin helps him see it. Something major is going on behind the scenes that Mike fails to notice. But Mike might not be the only oblivious one.

Mile heard it from El whenever she opened up about what she had witnessed that night. Max didn’t want to die, she wanted to live. And now that wasn’t even her choice.

Mike Wheeler’s idea of a typical day goes something like this:
Wake up. Eat breakfast. If it’s a school day, go to school. Meet Dustin and Lucas in the morning before class. Sit in class. Go to Hellfire Club. Go home. Do homework. Take a shower. Go to bed.
Unfortunately, this was not how Mike’s days actually go.

"It wasn't like how he'd read about it in books. He never wanted to be skinny, in fact he was insecure about how slim he was, avoiding every mirror he passed because of it. It was more because of the control starving brought with it. Not eating was the only thing he could control in his life, and feeling the stomach fat go away just made him feel satisfied and proud for some strange reason"
