Summary
After the Second Great Celestial War, Crowley and Aziraphale meet for the first time since... Since. When Crowley asks for a little time and space, Aziraphale gives it to him.
He doesn't expect it to be the last of their contact for four years.
He doesn't expect Aziraphale to disappear, with no way to be traced.
And he certainly doesn't expect for their next encounter to be in a kink club in New York City.

Summary
After watching Aziraphale walk away, Crowley is left with too many emotions, and only one is useful: anger. Without Azirapahle's restraining influence, he decides to become the demon he should have been all along. And when Aziraphale appears some time (perhaps too much time) later with an apology and a question, Crowley isn't ready to forgive him.
From there it gets better. But first, it gets so, so much worse.
All chapters featuring triggery content and explicit sex are skippable, with a spoilered summary at the beginning of each for folks who are interested in the premise but don't want that kind of content.

Summary
The White Knight, as legend had it, was a clever and formidable vigilante with a fast horse and an even faster pistol. He went from town to town rooting out injustice and cleaning up crime, and he’d recently been spotted—to the relief of the townspeople here, and to the enragement of the three men in front of the bar—on the road to this one.
Of course, Aziraphale knew none of this at the moment. The legend had been invented one week prior by Crowley himself.

Aziraphale uncovers Heaven’s darkest secret while Crowley has to challenge everything he thought he knew about choice, redemption, and whether escape is even possible. Allies appear in unexpected places, armed with uncomfortable truths and evidence that Heaven’s lies run deeper than either of them imagined.
Can the system be changed from within, or does it need to burn? Can you choose freedom when you’ve been told your entire existence that choice was never yours? And can an angel and a demon find their way back to each other when the universe itself is supposed to end?
Some endings are just beginnings wearing the wrong face.
