Summary
Receiving Poviss's sensible request to join the Wolflands was something nobody had ever thought to see coming, as pleasant and - again - sensible as it was. But Jaskier knew better than to hope for any other regent to be as adept in judgement as the wise and good-natured King Rhyd the Sensible.
So imagine his surprise - and the surprise of every witcher in the keep - to receive yet another envoy, from the enigmatic island of Inis Porhoet of all the damn places.

"Could- Could you repeat that?" Jaskier thinks he ought to lay down, because what he thought he heard was clearly nonsense - so obviously, the only reasonable explanation was that staying up last night to perfect the final notes of The Sensible King was a truly poorly made decision indeed.
But alas, the dry scoff Gerring makes on the other side of the xenovox does nothing to set Jaskier to rights.
"Aye you heard me right, bard. Prince Grzegorz sends word of a courier envoy from Inis Porhoet. Says they want to see the Wolf for discussions of acceding to the Wolflaw."
