“Hey, so what’re we doin’ on Friday?” Atsumu asks. He tucks his head over Kiyoomi’s shoulder and watches him pour hot water over the coffee grounds.
“Friday?” Kiyoomi says, looking halfway over his shoulder and nearly bumping noses with him. “I don’t know what you mean.”
“Friday? The 23rd? Our anniversary, dumbass,” Atsumu says. He pulls away and goes to grab mugs for their coffee when Kiyoomi pours out the last of the hot water. When he turns back, he raises his brows at Kiyoomi’s blank expression.

“We’re not open just yet,” they call as they step down off the ladder. “If you wouldn’t mind waiting just a few more minutes—”
At the counter, looking extremely imposing, is a tall, dark-haired man with a deep set frown. “I work here,” he says, shifting his weight to his other foot.
“You do?” Suga questions. Neither Ukai nor Takeda had told them about a new employee.
The man frowns even more deeply. “I’m supposed to start today. I’m training with Shimizu Kiyoko-san.”
