Kix swallows. Anger bubbles in his throat along with the ever-present paranoia, and he debates on whether or not he should do as she says. Ithano hasn’t turned his head, but he knows he’s watching him out of the corner of his eye. Waiting. Seeing if and when he needs to intervene.

Summary
His day was not going as he had planned, but Romar Adell could adapt. He would help the injured clone and be glad when he and the other deserters left.
Except he didn’t count on talking to the clone, and finding out he had a name. On finding out that maybe, he was just as wrong about the clones as some people were about the Separatists. Romar hadn't planned to hope for reconciliation, and maybe even a chance for peace.
Even if it was at the end of a long, hard path.
Romar couldn't quite keep the snap out of his words as he shot them at the trooper at his table. “We did exist before the war, you know.”
The clone waited a moment before answering, his fingers tapping with annoyance – or was it anxiety? – on the tabletop before they moved to begin working on the data cube.
When the soldier finally spoke, his voice was quiet and blunt.
“I never thought of it like that.” He cleared his throat, his eyes traveling to the opening in the floor where Omega had disappeared back down into the basement. “Perhaps because we did not.”
Romar looked at the man sharply, confusion faintly clouding his eyes.
“What?”

Hemlock is gone, the Bad Batch are safe on Pabu and all is well. At least, that's how it's supposed to be. But Crosshair is never home, Wrecker seems more interested in helping the people of Pabu than his own family and Hunter... well, Omega's not sure Hunter ever found his way back from Tantiss. For months, she has watched her family slip further and further away until now, when she fears they may be gone forever. But, Omega did not fight as hard as she did for the people she loves the most to fade away and leave her just as she was in the beginning. Alone.

Summary
Out of every result he could've predicted for the Anaxes mission, being invited into Clone Force 99 was not exactly one he'd put much thought into. That one's more along the lines of, 'never expected in the slightest'.
Echo wonders, sitting in the Marauder, whose idea it was to take him in. It’s not like Hunter sprung it on all of them at once right then and there.
