Soap shrugs. “I don’t know what to believe right now. According to Ghost, I died and came back.”
Ghost’s heart twists recalling the memory, feeling a piece of himself ripped out of his chest as he felt Soap’s soul crossover. One of his more miserable talents, feeling when the people around him die.
“You did,” Ghost mumbles, running his thumb along the side of Soap’s hand. “Fuck, Johnny, you died."
