Summary
No, that was definitely someone. It’s coming from the zombies. Tommy swears it’s coming from the fucking zombies, some deep voice keeping low, easily hidden under the rest. He can’t see anyone in the crowd. They’re all dead, all rotting, all trying to grab him for their next meal.
But then, part of the horde splits off, with a repeating sound of someone clicking their tongue, as if calling for a dog. A couple of zombies begin to stumble off, following the noise, curious at the more interesting prey, and Tommy watches them with wide eyes, seeing them peel away from the circle around the truck, arms reaching to the sound, which is coming from- a zombie.
Or- no. That’s not a zombie.

Who else could do it? Not Tubbo. Not any other person out there. Tommy seeks approval, even if he will not admit outright, and the only one who can give that needed approval is the same man who refuses to look at the boy unless forced to.
Technoblade sighs, long and nearly tired. “He is cared about. He’s loved by countless others, is that not enough?”
“Do you fear the boy, your grace?” Tubbo blinks innocently, his tone serene underneath the king's stare.
“Excuse me?”
(Or, Tommy struggles to settle into his new life, then makes a friend. Tubbo would probably die for him.)

Will laughs, just once, a quick, dark, rich sound that causes the hairs at the back of Hannibal’s neck to stand pleasantly on end. He does not shy away from eye contact with Hannibal the way he does with so many others, rubbing his thumb along his lower lip, enough to tug it gently out of place as he considers his response.
He curls his lip back into his mouth to wet it before asking, “Tell me, Doctor Lecter, have you ever been mated? Willingly or…otherwise.” But for the barest tightening of his smile and a flash of something once brittle, now hardened, behind storm-colored eyes, one would never suspect the sort of madness and past traumas that lurk behind the omega’s guarded cerulean gaze.

A few years later, Hannibal escapes from prison. Despite the risk, the first thing he does is go after his Mongoose. Give me obsessive, possessive, creepy as hell Hannibal who still wants Will for his own.

“Congratulations to all the lucky players in this forest-- you have been chosen!” Techno cranes his head back, and past the leaves, he can see Wilbur high, high up, looking so tiny from where he’s looking down at all of them. Tommy is near him, seeming distracted with other things. “Through a complicated and thorough process that definitely wasn’t just taking people at random from their worlds, you’ve all been brought together for the sole purpose of an experiment. A social experiment. An experience, I like to call it!”
Wilbur sounds thrilled at telling all of them this. Technoblade wishes he would fly back down so he can put his knife to good use. He didn’t sign up to be a random lab rat.
(Or, Techno winds up in one of Wil's 100 player challenges. He's just aiming to get out alive. Wil and Tommy of course have other ideas.)

Despite Wilbur’s lengthy list of life experiences as a world-famous rockstar, he’s somehow never had the experience of undergoing a kidnapping attempt. Is it considered an attempt if they’ve succeeded? Or is this just considered a plain successful kidnapping? He’s not sure. He might still be reeling from the slight concussion he got when getting thrown into someone’s trunk.
