This was information that Tubbo surely knew: he was typically awake the earliest of the three. Still, he shuffled on his feet, wings fluttering in turn.
“You’re sure? I wouldn’t mind waiting.”
Phil shrugged. “They won’t mind if we eat without them. Besides, I was hoping to talk to you.”
At that, Tubbo froze, arm halfway extended towards a plate. His eyes were fearful, wings postured defensively, but his voice was eerily neutral as he spoke.
“Is everything alright?”
Or, Phil learns something about his sons best friend, and does his best to make everything alright.

Summary
The stars whirred past him in a blur as Tubbo sat in the cockpit of his ship, Snowchester, and stared out the window. The tracking fob was leading him to some remote planet, clear out in the middle of the outer rim, and it was taking longer than he’d expected to get there. He could tell his fuel was running low, but he didn’t have the credits to stop and refuel, not until he caught this bounty. After he had his hands on them, he’d be set for life. He’d never need to work again if he didn’t want to, and though he was young he’d be lying if he said that didn’t sound ideal.
He looked down at the tracking fob again and dragged his fingers along the smooth surface, clicking the button to activate it. A hologram appeared, projecting the bounty in question in miniature. The image rotated slowly as the bounty’s name and description were spelled out in the air, hovering before his eyes.
“TOMMY INNIT,” read the hologram in basic. “WANTED CRIMINAL, KNOWN FORCE USER. CAPTURE, DO NOT KILL.”

A rumbling laugh is pulled from Technoblade’s chest, the first time Tommy has heard it. It’s strangely melodic for how intimidating he is at first glance. “This body is not human, if that’s what you’re wondering. I have animalistic traits.”
“Uh-huh,” Tommy agrees, pulling his gaze back to Technoblade’s eyes. “This body?”
“I can change my form at will. My true form may well send you into a catatonic state.”
“Oh.” Tommy inspects him for a second. “Well. Don’t show me that, I guess. But this one’s not too bad.”
or: Tommy is yanked rudely from prison to serve as a sacrifice to bring an ancient god out of dormancy. Technoblade is not happy when he awakes and finds out they're planning to kill Tommy to complete the ritual.
