Summary
An endlessly looping office in a building that shouldn’t exist. A voice telling a story about a man named Stanley - never deviating, never changing, coughing painfully in a way that proves it’s no recording. Something isn’t quite right here: Stanley is missing memories, with no idea how he arrived or how to leave.
There’s only one thing he can do - confront the Narrator, by any means necessary. But that’s only the beginning. What starts as a search for freedom becomes something far more complicated when Stanley discovers he isn’t the only one trapped. -

Summary
Faces — their complete absence is by now a stronger calling card for his paintings than the V. D. scribbled in the corner. It's a fact many comment upon, but few think about beyond the obvious joke, precisely the kind his friends make when they're a few glasses too deep.
The son of celebrated painters, and he can't draw a proper face?

Summary
Clea decides to destroy Verso, believing him too unpredictable to be left alone. Unfortunately for her, his chroma is tied to the very heart of the Canvas. So she neutralizes him the only way she can, separating his chroma, his spirit, from his body.
Now, forced to exist as a ghost in the Canvas, Verso watches over Maelle and tries to find a way to set things right. It gets worse before it gets better. How can he save his mother or help his sister, when he’s nothing but a fading echo of a man he can never be?

Summary
He plunges his sword into the ground — a familiar, practiced motion. The world pauses for a moment, and he sees the purple threads of blighted chroma ensnaring Gustave; pulls, yanking them towards himself. The pulsing chroma freezes for a second, tightening around the engineer. Then, like a pouncing predator, jumps at Verso.
The world starts moving again. A wave of nausea and fatigue almost knocks Verso to the ground, and it’s a miracle that he manages to dodge the next attack.
Gustave is staring at him, trying to process what just happened.
“Run,” Verso croaks.
Or: 5 times Verso carried Gustave’s burden and the 1 time Gustave carried his.

Summary
Gustave dies at Renoir's hand on the Stone Wave Cliffs. Then Gustave opens his eyes to the sound of a cane striking stone at the edge of the Continent. He dies again, he opens his eyes again. Again, again, and again, until he gets it right.
A slow-burn Verstave time loop from Gustave's perspective. The content warning is for time loop-typical death and violence.

Summary
He knew everyone here, some better than he’d thought he would, some faces well-known even if the souls behind them didn’t recognize him. Everything was quiet, unchanging except for the endless shift of the seasons, and he told himself this was what he needed to be happy.
So when Verso Dessendre saw a strange car, road-dusty with a number plate and rental sticker that announced its further strangeness, bouncing down the town’s ancient, cobblestoned main road, he was instantly suspicious.
Or: Verso Dessendre, acclaimed author and illustrator of the Esquie et ses amis children's book series, lives a quiet and isolated life in Vielle Lumière-sur-Mer for reasons he doesn't examine too closely. When a physics professor on sabbatical shows up in his sleepy backwater town, wearing the face of a man he watched die over a hundred years ago, the questionable peace Verso's found starts to become something else.
