There's a heaviness surrounding him, pinning him down onto the bed and filling his lungs.
It tastes tacky and damp. His air is humid and coiling. It makes him feel sick.
Demoman, if he can even call himself that anymore, opens his mouth; his tongue is sandpaper dry, his throat closed.
Nothing comes out, not even a wheeze.
The humming of lights fills the silence instead, and he imagines that they are a thousand tortured souls screaming with him.

Summary
In a world populated by magic and monsters, certain men develop certain ecclectic tastes. Sniper is very much one of them, the amiable Australian collecting experiences most illicit. He tracks down creatures sapient yet monstrous, and endeavors to bed them.
This series' chronology is vague, but is presented here in order.
The majority of this series was written before The Naked and the Dead came out, and thus before Spy was revealed as Scout's father. In the continuity of this series, that is only true of RED Scout and RED Spy. BLU Scout and BLU Spy are entirely unrelated in this series, however, for reasons that become pretty clear in Playing With Fire.

Summary
When Scout informs Sniper that there’s something he’s just GOTTA see, Sniper learns what Soldier really is, and what sort of interesting things one can get up to when shagging a dullahan.
(Warning: being that this involves sex and dullahan!Soldier, reasonable amounts of squick are to be expected. I'm unsure how to tag this sex, but it should be mentioned that Sniper has sex with the empty void that is Soldier's neck. It is not gory or visceral, but it is certainly strange. So be warned. Weird sex ahoy!)
