Summary
Skizz knew him so well. Too well, maybe. Well enough to pinpoint almost exactly what was going on in Impulse's head when Impulse gave him practically nothing to work with. It was almost scary.
It also meant more to him than Skizz would ever know.
He scooted so that they were sitting side by side. Skizz didn't look at him, eyes instead focused out the window on the peaceful landscape of the server, lit only by the moon and the occasional torch. Impulse let his gaze follow.
All their lives had led them here, he thought. Every band performance, every class, every job, every call from across servers and every call from just a couple hundred blocks away. It had all led them to here: Imp and Skizz, side by side on Hermitcraft, exactly as it was supposed to be.
Impulse didn't need to say it aloud— how much Skizz meant to him. How much his being here meant to him. He didn't need to say it because he knew that Skizz knew, in the same way that Impulse knew that he meant a lot to Skizz. In the same way that he knew the sun would rise the next morning.

Summary
It's two years after the Life Foundation incident and Eddie has got his life together. He's successful once again in his career, he's got the love of his life living up his ass, and he's got a new best friend - his ex's partner, Dan.
One day he comes home to find than Anne has kicked Dan to the curb and the doc needs a place to crash. Best friends turns into housemates, and housemates eventually turns into something more, with a lot of fun, shenanigans, and a tiny bit of angst along the way.

Summary
Blaze-born courtship rituals were a thing that Tango saw as if through a foggy window. He’d been rejected by the Tek Pyre when he was ten, basically the literal instant the pyre rules allowed them to throw him out. Even when he had been living there, he’d been belittled and abused. It was hard, because a lot of the things felt stilted to him, and yet also slotted perfectly into place. Like he should be doing them naturally, and yet had never been taught precisely the right steps, or the correct delivery. Blaze-borns were fire. They were possessive and consuming by nature. Things like courtship necklaces were meant to try and negate some of those feelings before they could turn violent, as far as Tango understood. It was selfish. It was greedy. Yet he couldn’t help himself.
Zed was beautiful. He was brilliant and bright and sun-kissed. He didn’t belong to the dark place where Tango was raised, sputtering and sparking.
Yet Tango couldn't help but want even just a tiny piece of that beauty all to himself.

Summary
These games don't harbor a place for true safety — or at least that's what Joel believes he's learned now that they're all back in a fourth one. And without safety, how is he meant to relax? His friends don't seem to have the same issue he does, and it just makes it harder on him when all he wants is to settle in for the night like them. It takes the help from his fellow Bad Boys, as well as the Clockers family, to convince him there can be safe moments.
Or, Joel has a hard time letting himself regress because he's terrified about the life game, but all it takes is a little extra convincing that he's safe.

Tango was still gone.
Zed saw Impulse and Skizz’s glances every time Xisuma shouted in short-lived triumph at finding an ever-shifting piece of the blazeborn’s code, only to be disappointed (again) when it inevitably twisted out of reach moments later, leaving them no closer to finding him. And Zed knew, okay, he knew that the magic he held would be perfect for finding the blazeborn, and then they would all have Tango back and everything would be fine. All he had to do is say something to Xisuma, and they would find Tango.
…He still couldn’t do it.

Summary
All Adrien wanted was to keep the peace and make sure everyone in his class stayed friendly. That was why he took the high road, held his tongue, and allowed Lila's lies to spread unchecked. He didn't think this was a big deal; sure, Marinette complained, but she'd endured just fine when he'd defended Chloe, so why would this be any different? And besides, who could be hurt by a couple of tall tales about celebrities and fake charitable work?
But karma is a stubborn thing. It can occasionally be deflected, such that a villain is protected from her well-deserved punishment, but it can never be truly stopped--especially when the Ladybug miraculous is involved. In those cases, if appropriate consequences cannot fall upon the villain herself, they inevitably descend upon the protector who upheld her lies, downplayed her cruelties, and shielded her from harm.
And by the time Adrien learns just what sort of punishment that Lila earned and that he must now endure, it may be far too late for him.
