Armand, it seems, disagrees.
He's moved even closer into Daniel's space, so there's barely a hair's breadth between them. His grip on Daniel's wrist has slackened, just a touch, but the one on his chin remains firm. His pupils are a little bit dilated and his breathing (which he's demonstrated on numerous disturbing occasions he doesn't actually need to do) is quick and shallow. Daniel huffs a laugh.
“Oh my God,” he says. “Do you have a thing for glasses? They getting you going, boss?”

“Are you unwell?” Armand asks. Then, as an afterthought. “Are you hurt?”
He scans the boy's body and finds no evidence of that, either. No obvious bruising or swelling, no weeping sores. Certainly no bleeding wounds, which Armand would have smelled the second he entered the apartment.
From the floor, Daniel huffs a half-laugh, like Armand has suggested something funny.
“No, man, I'm not sick,” he confirms. “I'm just hot.”
