Jimin doesn’t speak or move and his manager backs out of the room, making sure the door closes softly as he exits
And then he’s alone in a dark room with the world’s biggest artist and he nervously wipes a sweaty palm down his leg. He opens his mouth but doesn’t know what to say. He seems to sense an icy disappointment already resonating from the still figure on the table.

Jimin would say he doesn't need any healing, but he surprises Jungkook when he starts asking for him exclusively, and then offers him the opportunity of a lifetime: a job as part of his health team on his next world tour.

“It’s not funny.”
“Hey,” Hayden said in a conciliatory tone, though there was no real apology in it. “Look. I fucking hate the guy, but if he’s what you want…”
The words chafed. It felt wrong, all wrong, like someone humoring a bad decision. Like of course Shane could do better, should want better. Like it was obvious.
