But I doubt even Ms. Lane would be so heartless as to leave her oldest and dearest friend to my hospitality.” Dallas forces the man’s chin up, and Clark finds himself staring into the eyes of a trembling and bloodied Bruce Wayne.

    Well damn. Hopefully Lois can get Batman on the line to get them out of this dumpster fire.

    Or: Clark hasn't been able to make heads or tails of Bruce Wayne for months, but when they're both kidnapped by people trying to extort Lois, he's going to have find some common ground fast. Weird how Bruce reminds him of his colleague Batman, who Clark is pretty sure is terrified of him, but that's probably not important.
