Emmett had been working with Buggy’s Delivery long before they were absorbed into Cross Guild. As a detonation specialist, he followed his beloved Buggy Balls across the Grand Line to their source and secured a job in the weapons division.
So not only does he get to make colourful explosives that are as destructive as they are flashy, but he gets to be in close proximity to the hottest man on the damn ocean: Buggy the Clown.

In a different universe, All Might beat All for One the first time. He quietly retired, leaving things to the next generation. Class 1-A were not attacked by villains, Nomus never existed and there was no war.
Midoriya Izuku also never got All Might’s quirk. He never went to UA. He never became a hero.
He instead decided to use his skills in quirk analysis for a very different career path. Midoriya may never be a hero, but that doesn’t mean that people won’t know his name and it certainly doesn’t mean he can’t help people. It just means that he does it a little differently.
