Summary
Bilbo loves writing books. It’s a challenging craft at the best of times, but battling writer’s block makes it downright impossible. Thankfully, his enigmatic (and possibly mad) friend Gandalf has just the cure for his creative slump: a steaming cup of tea at his cozy home and a front-row seat to one of his outrageous tales.
But, as Bilbo quickly learns, nothing with Gandalf is ever simple. One moment, he’s at his friend house, and the next, he’s whisked away to an entirely different world—a realm brimming with dwarves, elves, and dragons. Naturally, Bilbo decides to go straight back home. There’s no way he’s getting involved. Absolutely not.
…And yet, somehow, he finds himself joining a company of dwarves on a suicidal quest to defeat the dragon.

Summary
Bilbo Baggins - the ordinary bookstore owner, guardian of Frodo and a well known gentleman among the local people of Shire. Everyone knew Baggins' family and (even if people loved gossip about them) respected them.
Everything that Bilbo knew and appreciated made a wild turn, the moment he found a metal Talisman. No one ever told him that picking up random trash will throw him into magic shenanigans, dwarves' underground community and rivalry with a dwarf that can easily break him like a stick. Oh, and apparently he is now some sort of Dwarfhunter. Just *amazing*!

The words that escape his lips thrill him to his core. Leaves him rabid, nearly. "Ash, will you kill everyone with me if I do the same with you?"
The laugh that comes out of Ash tastes and feels like the most delirious kind.
"My blade," he whispers, almost like it's a sacred promise. Awed. "You are my blade." He tugs his hands free from Ewron's hold, choosing to thumb his cheek instead.
He feels stupid for thinking it now, that Ewron could ever turn his back on him. Sure, he's gotten lost in his own uninhibitedness a few times, but Ash would be lying if he said he hasn't done the same.
Like a wayward dog, he always comes back. Ewron is too loyal to stray far. Too devoted. Too obedient.
His obedient boy.
Or, Ewron is dedicated to prove his devotion to Ash.

Ewron closed his eyes.
He didn't move. Didn't turn around. He just felt Ash's presence behind him, the warmth radiating from the other's body, the collar pressing gently against his throat.
He swallowed. The movement made the metal press a little tighter.
— Yes, Ash… — his voice came out lower than he intended. Trembling, in a way he both hated and loved. — Anything you want.
There was a silence. Long. Heavy.
Ewron could hear his own breathing.
Could hear the blood pounding in his temples.
— Alright… — Ash's voice came in a whisper, lips so close they almost brushed his skin. — Then bark....

“What’s a good line to text a guy during a blackout?”
Robert responded automatically, giving some cheesy line from the top of his head about looting that even he could tell wasn’t great - though he blamed it on his having to focus on the huge shitstorm brewing across the city thanks to the blackout.
…He didn’t particularly think Golem’s suggestion of “Boo” was that good either, but Flambae obviously had his own ideas of what guys want to hear. Given how often he bragged in comms about getting with different guys, maybe Robert’s judgement was just off.
