Summary
Out in the city, he's all sharp edges and steel - more sentient weapon than man…but that's never what comes home to you.
When he walks into the apartment, it's like watching a jaguar suddenly start behaving like it's been a housecat this whole time - he's still a well-muscled mountain of a man, but he's more interested in nuzzling your neck and tracing your collarbone with his tongue than pinning you down with a snarl.
Coming through the door, he takes off his motorcycle helmet and shakes out his hair, calling out, "Hey, darlin', I'm home! I grabbed your favorite takeout, as promised; do you -" only to fall silent, fumble (and drop) the helmet, and nearly walk into a door frame when he sees what you're wearing.
