Summary
There.
Damian stood in the center of the chaos, talking to another league member Jon’s brain refused to register. It wasn’t his Damian, though.
His hair was shorter—not the long, cascading curls Jon had grown used to, but a buzzed fade, like when they were kids.
His shoulders were tenser too but that could have been due to the situation rather than a universal difference.
And most telling, he was in combat gear—nothing Jon recognized by design, but unmistakably something bat-related.
The voice was the same, though.
Exactly the same.
Or: Jon is on a month-long mission assisting an alternate Earth with an invasion. But being away from his boyfriend, Damian, for so long starts to take it's toll. Can this Earth's Damian help with the pain?

This takes place about 6 or seven months after 'Favorite Uncle'. This could be read as standalone in theory but I wouldn't recommend it.

The cold was gone. In its place was the slow, steady heat of Jon’s body, radiating through layers of fabric and skin until Damian felt it in his bones. Jon’s arms were an anchor and a hearth all at once, and Damian found he couldn’t even remember what it meant to be cold.
Or: Damian’s heater broke so he gets warm cuddles from Jon, his boyfriend of 2 months which leads to more.

I wrote 'A Name Unknown' in 2019 qnd never finished it.
WELL I'M BACK!! After four years, two jobs, and a lot of debt I've finally decided to continue it. But you see, I was rereading it so I could remember what happened already and I noticed something... it was written pretty poorly. I mean I was basically a baby when I wrote this so that's understandable but I still liked the storyline and some of it wasn't even that awful so I decided i decided to leave up the original and just make a rewrite too.
I do have a job and stuff so I can't update extremely often like I used to but I'm gonna put in the work and finish this puppy!!
